In this study there is firstly a short summary about the Pilgrimage hymns to give a clear background sketch. After that each of the Pilgrimage hymns were studied in greater detail. The verbal translation, textual critics, structure, hermeneutist- and exegetic analysis plus the theology of each Pilgrimage Hymns was also looked at. Through this research an answer was searched to the question: If the Psalm should be preached during the christian Honor service because they are prayers.
