In the Pauline writings common interests were due to Koinonia with Christ. Because of the various believers' corresponding/common relationship with Christ, all believers had the same objectives. However, with the general survey that was made under the founders of the various AP Kerk churches, only one referred to fellow members as brothers and sisters in Christ. In the description of brotherhood among members today, there was also no reference to Christ as the principle factor of brotherhood among members.
