To interpret the Word of God is the greatest privilege that any believer, and then particularly the minister has. Still, with the vocation of the minister comes the responsibility not to talk with human wisdom, but to speak with authority and honesty and say: "Thus saith the Lord!". The history of the Christian Church shows clearly that there were several methods through the centuries to get to this conclusion. During the course of time it showed that many of these methods had deficiencies and new ones took their place. It happened time and again and not only the deficiencies of a method were shown, but that the whole method with all its positive contributions was rejected
